1. Who we are
wikivouchercode.com is run by Synergetic Digital Marketing Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 08839290, with its registered office at 43 Manchester Street, London W1U 7LP. We are the controller of the personal data described in this notice. You can contact us about privacy at support@wikivouchercode.com.
Our data protection fee registration number with the Information Commissioner's Office is [ICO NUMBER].
This notice explains how we handle personal data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025.
2. The short version
You can use this site without telling us who you are. We have no accounts, newsletter, mailing list, forms or comments, and we do not collect email addresses or keep an email database. We process a small amount of personal data in three situations: when your device connects to our website, when you click a link to a retailer, and if you choose to email us.
3. What we process, why, and our lawful basis
(a) When you visit the site: server logs
Our hosting provider, [HOSTING PROVIDER], automatically records standard technical information each time a page is requested. This includes your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and device type.
Why: to deliver the website, keep it secure, prevent abuse and fix faults.
Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in running a secure and working website (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR).
How long: [LOG RETENTION PERIOD], unless we need logs for longer to investigate a specific security incident.
(b) When you click a link to a retailer: affiliate tracking
All shop links on this site are affiliate links. When you click Show code, Get deal or Visit shop, your browser goes through our affiliate network, currently Awin, to the retailer. Awin and the retailer set cookies on their own websites and add a reference to the web address so that a resulting sale can be credited to us. Awin and the retailer may process your IP address, device information, cookie identifiers, the time of the click and, if you buy, the order reference and value.
What we receive: reports showing sales, their dates and values, the commission due and a click reference. Our click reference only records which part of our site or which sharing app a click came from, for example an offer page or a WhatsApp share. It never identifies a person. We do not receive your name, contact or payment details.
Awin describes itself, the retailer and publishers such as us as joint controllers of affiliate tracking data. Awin and each retailer are responsible for their own processing and explain it in their privacy notices, including Awin's at www.awin.com/gb/privacy.
Why: to be paid commission on sales we refer.
Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in running an affiliate website and being paid for referrals (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR). Cookie consent for affiliate tracking is explained in our Cookie notice.
How long: we keep commission reports for six years for accounting and tax purposes.
(c) If you choose to email us
We do not collect email addresses and we do not keep a mailing list or email database. If you decide to email us, your message will contain your email address, any name you include and what you write. We use this only to reply to you, for example about a code that does not work or a complaint. We never add your address to any list, send you marketing or share it with anyone.
Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in responding to messages people send us (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR).
How long: we delete the message once the matter is resolved and no later than 12 months after our last contact, unless it relates to a legal claim or complaint, in which case we keep it for as long as needed for that claim, up to six years.
(d) Sharing and social links
Our WhatsApp, Facebook and Telegram share buttons, and our Facebook follow link, are ordinary links. We do not load any social media scripts. Nothing is sent to those services unless you click, and then their own privacy notices apply.
(e) Fonts and images
Retailer logos on this site are served from our own web server, so viewing them does not send your data to anyone else.
Our fonts are provided by Google Fonts. To show them, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address, browser details and the address of the page you are viewing. Google states that it does not set cookies for this service or use this data for advertising. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in presenting the site consistently.
4. Who we share personal data with

- Awin and other affiliate networks we may use in future, and the retailers you choose to visit, as described in section 3(b).
- Our professional advisers, and public authorities where the law requires.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising profiles.
5. International transfers
Our website is hosted in [HOSTING LOCATION]. If any personal data is transferred outside the UK, we make sure it is protected by UK adequacy regulations or by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, as the law requires. You can ask us for details.

7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of your personal data;
- ask us to correct inaccurate data;
- ask us to delete your data;
- ask us to restrict how we use your data; and
- ask us to transfer data you gave us, where this right applies.
Your right to object. Because we rely on legitimate interests, you have the right to object at any time to our processing of your personal data, on grounds relating to your situation. We will then stop unless we have compelling legitimate grounds or need the data for a legal claim.
To exercise any right, email support@wikivouchercode.com. We will reply within one month. Because we hold very little data, we may need details such as the date and time of your visit to find any records.
8. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please email us at support@wikivouchercode.com with "Data protection complaint" in the subject line. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, look into it without undue delay, keep you updated and tell you the outcome.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF. Telephone 0303 123 1113. Website: ico.org.uk.
9. Children
This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly process children's personal data.
10. Changes to this notice
We will update this notice if how we use personal data changes, and we will change the date at the top.
